Pastor Ben has been a member of HMCC since its founding. Over the years the Lord has placed within him a passion for teaching believers how to mature in their relationship with Jesus Christ and training them up to be Christ-like servant-leaders.
He moved to Ann Arbor in the fall of 1996 to pursue a Masters degree in Public Health after receiving his undergrad degree in Biology at Washington University in St. Louis. As he served as a small group leader and church coordinator at HMCC for four years, he received God’s call to go into full-time ministry.
Since then, Pastor Ben received a Masters of Divinity at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He married Susan Kim, who had also grown and served as a small group leader and coordinator in HMCC during her undergrad years and beyond. They have three sons, Isaiah, Joshua, and Nathaniel, and are now serving full time at HMCC of Austin.
